Submission and Examination - Ulster University.
Thesis Format. The rules for formatting research degree theses are quite straightforward, but it is important that you get them right: with the exception of short quotations for which an English translation is provided, the thesis must be written in English unless the Graduate Dean has given approval prior to submission for examination for all or part of the thesis to be in another language.
Between 1999 and 2001 the Nuffield Foundation supported a research project into aspects of integrated education in Northern Ireland. The project was coordinated by Alan Smith, University of Ulster, and Tony Gallagher, Queen’s University Belfast.
The minimum University academic requirement for a PhD by Publication degree is the same as that required for a PhD: you need the equivalent of a 2:1 in a UK Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in a relevant field of study. However, depending on which School you are studying in, some may set a higher or more specific entry requirement.
The University has suspended the requirement to submit printed and soft bound copies of your thesis for examination. To complete the thesis submission, you only need to upload a PDF copy of your thesis to GRAD. This can be submitted and assessed remotely.
